I am delighted to be working alongside a well-known Durham based business to recruit an Accounts Assistant on a perm contract.
This client are offering an immediate start date.37.5 Hours per week - Monday to Friday
Duties will include:
- Invoice processing
- Processing expense and payment requests
- Nominal Ledger Control Account Reconciliations
- Daily Banking and cash book postings
- Maintaining local purchase and sales ledgers
- Raising adhoc sales invoices
- Liaising with third party providers, clients and suppliers
- Reconciliation of supplier statements
- Basic administration & filing
- Updating and maintaining procedural documentation
- Monitoring daily communications and dealing with queries
Person Specification:
- Attention to detail
- High levels of accuracy in all processing
- Good Microsoft Excel skills
- Adaptability
- Previous Accounting Background
- Previous Motor Trade experience and advantage but not essential
- Works well with others in a small administration team of 6 x colleagues
