Senior Organisation Effectiveness Lead

What will the role Involve as our Senior OE Lead?
-
Accountable for leading and delivering end-to-end strategic people initiatives as part of the overall Future Organisation & Skills agenda for BT, including shaping the approach and delivery plan, main engagement contact for stakeholders, developing content and collateral, owning status updates to senior stakeholders, managing linkages and dependencies with other teams and programmes, etc.

Lead, inspire and coach a matrix team through the delivery of these strategic people initiatives.

Facilitate alignment and cross
  • Unit trade offs, and support the Future Organisation & Skills Director in the join up of initiatives across portfolios and Units.

Influence, manage and challenge senior stakeholders across the business and HR to solve problems in a holistic way across BT (i.e. linking together organisation design, job design, careers, skills, talent and reward, to deliver compelling solutions for colleagues).

Research into external best practices regarding organisation effectiveness methodologies to challenge and inform future design thinking and processes (e.g. agile operating models, future skills, flexible structures).

Lead on specific optimisation and automation activities across E2E processes for organisation effectiveness and skills to simplify the colleague experience and reduce waste.

Develop toolkits and guidance documents to support business leaders, OD leads and HR colleagues across the E2E processes.


What are we looking for in our Senior OE Lead?
-
large corporate or professional consultancy would be an advantage.


Previous domain experience in two or more of the following:


  • Large programme management; OR
  • Organisation effectiveness and design, or job design; OR
  • Professional consultancy (e.g. management consulting, HR consulting)
