Your Role

The EMEA Technology PMO Lead will be the single point of contact for Technology in the EMEA region zone for S/4 Compass project.

You will manage a large program matrixed team and the System Integrator (SI) team that are responsible for S/4 program deliverables.


Accountable for the S/4 technology team, this role will lead day to day operations, manage risks, issues, escalations, and logistics coordination for international releases.

Working closely with stakeholders including business units, technology and SI to align deployment goals and deliver effective executive level reporting for the EMEA program.


Responsible for leading deployment activities including technology build, testing and cutover for ~22 countries and delivering the integration of business and technical cutover plans.


Your Role Accountabilities:


Deployment:


  • Primary Technology deployment contact for EMEA region & Project team.
  • Lead the activities post integration testing to complete the golive.
  • Facilitate the project team and local users in ensuring Business Readiness golive regionally. Ensure execution of the business cutover plan for assigned location.
  • Act as regional command center lead during golive activities and central point of contact for facilitating golive issue resolution.
  • Lead overall assessment of Golive Readiness deliverables.
  • Provides Input into deployment planning and approach including specific country considerations.
  • Coordinates regional activities for deployment including working with multiple teams for logistics, connectivity, and country readiness.
  • Overall ownership of status reporting including executive level status, issue escalation and resolution point of contact in region.
  • Develop and execute the deployment methodology for rolling out technology release for WBD activities including boundary systems and business cutover activities.
  • Lead the support activities during the deployment workstreams, UAT, Training and Golive.
  • Together with the Business Release lead, define the business cutover plan ensuring Business Readiness golive.
  • Provide On-Site support during stabilization of the Regional Golive.
  • Build & execute technology deployment plans and define regional command center approach
  • Ensure local cutover activities are defined from the detailed cutover runbooks to the wider communications (internal and external)
  • Manage EMEA technology hyper care support and facilitate transition to run state operations.
  • Execute EMEA command center approach, schedule, and defined interaction model for a multilocation rollout.

Testing

  • Work with Testing team, support technology and UAT testing during the local time zone.
  • Provide technology support during all phases of testing to regional users.
  • Lead the definition of key local scenarios and variants used in Data Migration, UAT
  • Guide all local streams (Business and IT) in all aspects of boundary system integration.
  • Implement the local testing strategy.
  • Provide technology support for local teams for testing, documentation, and defect management.
  • Govern the process for defect management and progress reporting.
  • Support UAT for EMEA, ensuring that any medium defects have workarounds defined and that resolution dates are known.
  • Primary liaison between the business and the technology team to resolve issues and defects.
  • Coordinate Test execution within time zone working closely with the Testing Lead.
  • Manage local logistics of test execution.
  • Expedite and escalate defects as required.
  • Align system readiness for boundary systems.

Project Management

  • Provide overall technology status for EMEA, raise and resolve issues, followup to completion and bring visibility the appropriate escalation to core project team.
  • Ensure timely completion of tasks, maintaining project timeline and target dates.
  • Conduct EMEA meetings in collaboration with Core PMO and functional teams.
  • Ensure execution of project change control process to understand additions to project scope while working with Core project team.
  • Identify and evaluate the risks associated with project activities and take appropriate action to mitig
