Description

• Deliver the PE curriculum to students in order to improve their athletic ability, coordination, balance, flexibility, agility and overall health.
• Use and adapt lesson plans that are engaging, creative, and fun while also covering national curriculum standards.
• Encourage participation in sports activities within the school; foster a love of physical activity among students.
• Monitor student progress and development; provide feedback on individual student performance.
• Work closely with other teachers on coordinating crosscurricular activities related to Physical Education.
• Run extracurricular sports events and afterschool clubs.

• Level 2 in a curriculum sport or relevant field.
• 2+ years of experience as a primary school PE teacher or equivalent role. (preferred)
• Indepth knowledge of Physical Education teaching methods, equipment, and techniques that work well with children.
• Ability to deliver engaging lesson plans which aim at improving the athletic performance of young students.
• Excellent communication skills; ability to explain concepts effectively in verbal and written form.
• Friendly personality; ability to work well with children of all ages.
