Do you have experience working within the Early Years Sector/residential care sector?


Sapphire Education and Training have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Early Years Professional to train to become Apprenticeship development coach.


As a Trainee Development Coach we will put you through your teaching (AET) and assessing (CAVA) qualifications - setting you up as a fully qualified apprenticeship Coach.

You will be delivering the Level 2, 3 and 5 Early Years qualifications.

This is a hybrid role with the expectation to visit apprentices in their place of work for progress reviews and teaching and learning sessions.

Workplace locations will be based around West Midlands.


The role will involve:

  • Lead a caseload of learners and support them to achieve their apprenticeship or qualification, as well as any additional requirements such as a Diploma through to Gateway and successful End Point Assessment
  • Regularly assess work and provide constructive feedback including SPAG and update the E
  • Portfolio system (BUD)
  • Identify and support learners with additional learning
  • Support those learners who require Functional Skills maths and/or English at Level 1 or Level 2, we do have a functional skills specialist who also supports with the delivery of this.
  • Take responsibility to ensure safeguarding, PREVENT, British Values, Health, Safety and Wellbeing and equality, diversity and inclusion are promoted and monitored continually in all areas of the job role

About You

  • Recognised Level 3 Early years qualification or above
  • Experience as a room leader, deputy manager, manager or as a teacher within early years
  • Driving licence and your own mode of transport

Interviews will take place on 5th June.

Schedule:
Monday to Friday, core hours of 9:00-5:00 but this is flexible due to managing own diary.
