What you'll do:


Working shift pattern (Days only) of 4 nights on, 4 nights off (12 hours per day), however initial training of approx.

3 months will be on a day shift pattern. Additional shift cover may be required during commissioning/shutdown periods.


Responsibilities

  • Manufacture agarosebased chromatography media in the Agarose Manufacturing Facility in line with procedures & documentation.
  • Operate the PLC SCADA system to manufacture product from raw material through to finished product & packaging.
  • Develop knowledge of each process step, the critical control points and how in specification product can be produced. Extensive training will be provided to build this knowledge.
  • Use care and attention to detail to ensure that Purolite ships product of continuously high quality.
  • Any other reasonable duties as required by management of the company.

What you'll need:


  • Experience in a chemical manufacturing environment, or similar.
  • Experience handling hazardous chemicals
  • Strong team player and attention to detail
  • Demonstrate clear communication amongst team leaders, engineers, supervisors, and managers.
  • Operate manual and automated equipment
  • Computer competency
  • Mathematical competency
  • Ability to carry out manual handling tasks
  • Must have a handson attitude
