An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Night Porter to join the Front of House team, working within this 94 Bedroom Hotel, Bar and function 4 star establishment.

You will ensure that all guests receive a warm, memorable and personalised welcome to the Hotel, setting the scene for their stay and ensure that guest needs are anticipated and that any requests are actioned.

Duties will include but are not limited to:

Be responsible for the security of the hotel and its guests over night
To set function and breakfast room to agreed standard and to guests' specification.
Provide food and drinks service to guests
Clean public areas as required and ensure the external areas are tidy and maintained.
Be aware of fire procedures and complete the night porter checklists, along with any other reasonable tasks requested by managers.
Provide a thorough handover to reception
Extend working hours as required to ensure jobs are completed to the required standard and that all guest needs are met

Skills, interests and qualities required:

As a hotel night porter you should be polite, welcoming and have a friendly manner
Respectful of guests' privacy
Reliable and a good timekeeper
An adaptable teamworker who is aware of health, safety and security issues and who is also physically fit.

Salary:
From £11.00 per hour
