Job summary


Due to the continued growth of the business, we are looking for a talented administrator to join our expanding team.

Are you looking for a varied and rewarding role? First County Monitoring are one of the UK's leading independent alarm receiving centres, established for over 30 years and provide a variety of security services throughout the UK and Ireland.


A clean police record is essential as a complete 5-year security and work history check will be required for the successful applicant.

The hours of work are Monday to Friday 08:30 - 17:30, with
30 days of holiday (including bank holidays).


This varied and exciting role requires an adaptable, conscientious and enthusiastic person with high attention to detail and excellent customer service skills.


Responsibilities and duties:


  • Commissioning of new systems and ensuring correct signals are received in the control room.
  • Supporting customers and suppliers in resolving issues.
  • Providing friendly and excellent customer service to installers/customers whilst working within the GDPR principles.
  • Prioritising workloads and tasks to ensure high service levels are maintained.
  • Ensure all work is undertaken in compliance with operating procedures and current legislation.
  • Training will be provided.

Personal attributes you will require:


  • Administration experience preferable
  • The use of Microsoft office packages excel, word and outlook are essential.
  • A proven track record of dealing with inbound calls and excellent customer service skills.
  • Proactive attitude with attention to detail and excellent time management skills.
  • Work closely with colleagues, taking ownership of general administration tasks.
  • The ability to work calmly and accurately under pressure, within a team or when working alone.
  • The ability to learn and adapt to changes in procedures/legislation and workload.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills.
