£24,100-£27,991 Per annum

37 hours per week (Hybrid working)

We are looking for a full-time Benefit Adviser to deliver information and guidance on Housing Benefits and Council Tax Support, and when necessary other council and Department for Work and Pensions services.

As part of our Housing Benefits and Council Tax Support Team based at the Civic Centre in the heart of Addlestone's regenerated town centre, we can offer flexible working two days from home.

Here you will become part of a team committed to driving improvement through innovative ideas using the latest technology and supporting residents to access council services.


About you
- experience of working in a customer services environment
- excellent customer care skills able to empathise and problem solve on behalf of customers
- have the ability to understand and relay information and be willing to 'go the extra mile' for our customers
- competency in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint)
