The Accounts Assistant is responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective administration, processing and payment of supplier invoices as well as daily ad hoc tasks.


Key responsibilities and tasks include:

  • Daily bank reconciliations, weekly global reconciliations and investigating any inconsistencies.
  • Supplier 'set up' and invoice administration, processing and validation.
  • Ensuring compliance with industry legislation and best practices.
  • Meeting performance KPIs and targets set by the company.
  • VAT reporting, budgeting, ad hoc reporting, and FTT preparation.
  • Ensuring the delivery of agreed reporting requirements.
  • Attending ad hoc client meetings.

Qualifications and Skills:


  • Experience within an accountancy/financial environment, which may include experience gained within a professional accounting practice.
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written).
  • Clientfocused, flexible, organized, selfmotivated, and able to work to tight deadlines.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Highly computer literate, including intermediate Microsoft Office skills.
