If you're enthusiastic about both, we have the perfect opportunity for you to join our team as an F&B Assistant at The Reach, a prestigious 215-room hotel located in the heart of Piccadilly, Manchester.


Responsibilities:


  • Greet and warmly welcome guests to the breakfast and evening restaurant areas, ensuring a pleasant and memorable dining experience.
  • Assist guests in selecting from our delectable menus, offering recommendations, and accommodating special dietary requirements.
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders, efficiently relaying them to the kitchen and bar teams.
  • Serve dishes promptly and with attention to detail, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining areas, including setting up tables and replenishing food and beverage stations.
  • Anticipate guest needs and provide personalized service to enhance their dining experience.
  • Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally and promptly, seeking assistance from management when necessary.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth operations and efficient service during all service hours.
  • Uphold food safety and hygiene standards, following all health and safety guidelines.

Requirements:


  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a busy breakfast and evening restaurant service environment.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, engaging effectively with guests from diverse backgrounds.
  • A positive and friendly attitude, with a genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fastpaced setting.
  • A proactive approach to problemsolving and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
  • A team player mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
