Senior Credit Controller

Location:
Preston, incorporating working from home

Hours:
Full time 42.75 hours per week.

Salary:
Competitive, dependant on experience

The opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Senior Credit Controller to support our growing Finance function, based at our head office facility in Preston, Lancashire.

Key Accountabilities

The Credit controller is responsible for ensuring that all monies owed to the business are collected in a timely and appropriate manner.

Particular responsibilities include;

Post and allocate receipts accurately.
Communicate with other departments to ensure queries dealt with swiftly.
Issue monthly statements.
Keep appropriate records of customer interactions.
Reviewing credit limits when required, in line with credit insurance guidelines when applicable.
Create report of overdue accounts ahead of going on stop for review by team manager and commercial team (sales account managers)
Assist team members with their ledgers as needed.
Use Sage50 and Navision accounting systems, along with some inhouse purposebuilt systems.
