PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
As the Marketing Assistant you will be apart of a dedicated, friendly marketing team supporting two national brands.

You will help build brand awareness and sales growth for franchisees, assisting with creating and implementing plans that deliver lead generation.

This role will allow you to develop your practical marketing experience across brands with different propositions and target audiences.

You will be working across multiple channels, with digital being the lead, but you will develop skills and knowledge across the entire marketing mix.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Supporting the Marketing Manager in implementing a wider marketing strategy.
  • Assisting with brand marketing strategies, programs, and tactics in local markets to help grow business, such as advertising, POS, marketing collateral materials and digital marketing.
  • Provide support with website and marketing resource questions and issues.
  • Training new and existing locations on brand marketing programs and general marketing best practices.
  • Being a point of contact for marketing tasks.
  • Update the websites with new product launches and maintain the websites in terms of any discounted products and colours as needed.
  • Any other reasonable duty that falls within your capabilities.

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE

EXPERIENCE:


  • Degree/Qualification in PR, Communications or Marketing preferred.
  • Previous experience in a Marketing role.

SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE:


  • Good knowledge of digital marketing channels.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Excellent listening, written, verbal and presentation communication skills with an eye for creativity.
  • Analytical and creative problemsolving skills
  • Proficient with PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Microsoft Outlook. Creative suite experience is desirable.

Salary:
£27,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
