Primary Teacher - Maternity Cover


A superb, new and modern primary school located in a fantastic development on the outskirts of Aylesbury is currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced primary teacher for a maternity cover position.

The school boasts state-of-the-art facilities,respectful and well-behaved pupils, and a hardworking team of staff, making it the perfect place for a dedicated teacher to continue their career.


The position is full-time, with a daily rate of between £145-£195, and will be for at least the end of the academic year.


Responsibilities:


  • Planning and delivering engaging and effective lesson plans
  • Assessing and evaluating student progress
  • Collaborating with colleagues to ensure a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Communicating with parents and guardians regarding student progress and any concerns
  • Participating in professional development opportunities to stay current in the field

Requirements:


  • A Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field
  • A valid teaching certification or license
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience teaching primary school students
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all students
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Passion for teaching and a commitment to student success
  • Willingness to participate in extracurricular activities and school events.
