We are currently working with a leading bespoke manufacturing business based in rural Maidstone.

Due to ongoing growth, they are currently seeking a Trainee Stores Person to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.

The Trainee Sales Person will be responsible for allocating materials, fixtures and fittings to the wider team. They will

also be responsible for assisting in processing goods-in stock, helping with stock take duties and moving materials/product between the production halls.

Key Tasks/Duties of this role:

Responsible for managing the inbound process of goods inwards
Ensure accurate stock systems records are maintained
Assisting with annual stock take
Issuing stock internally, whilst maintaining storage disciplines, systems and records
Packing of goods for shipment to customer sites
Assisting staff with queries and questions

Essential Skills:

Computer literate
Capable of effectively multitasking
Team player possessing good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels
Physically fit, due to the fact there is some lifting required in this role

Desirable Skills:

Strong organisational skills
Experience of working within ISO9001 quality systems/Lean/Six Sigma working practices

Benefits will include:
Quarterly bonus which you will be eligible for after your probation, this is currently £ per quarter.

Hours for this role are Monday to Friday 8am-5pm.
