Dementia Care Manager

£40,000-£45,000pa

Bright Selection are very excited to be recruiting a Dementia Care Manager for a luxury nursing home in the Brighton area.

Our client is a leading provider in the care sector for older people, offering individual succession plans for all members of staffand excellent training.


Requirements:


  • Passion for delivering exceptional Dementia care
  • Minimum level 3 qualification in dementia care or a minimum of 4 years experience of supporting people with dementia
  • Management and leadership experience
  • Knowledge of MCA, DoLs, POVA, CQC
  • Able to motivate staff teams
  • IT skills and good written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities:


  • Lead a Dementia care team reporting to the Home Manager
  • Develop person centred care plans
  • Carry out assessments of potential new residents
  • Regularly liaise with healthcare professionals & attend meetings
  • Supervise, coach and mentor the dementia care delivery team
  • Be the Dementia expert within the care home
  • Support the Home Manager with managerial duties
