Introduction:
We are looking for a Technical Lead to provide expertise to projects and oversee the implementation of technical solutions in line with customer specifications and business needs.
My client is a multinational defence organisation who supply their customers with complex engineering solutions for their business needs.

Key responsibilities:
- Producing the Project Engineering Plan that defines how the approved technical solution will be implemented by the project team.
- Identify any technical issues with the proposed solution and agreeing with the Design Authority and customer.
- Produce and maintain the Product Backlog that identifies the complete scope of technical work for the project.
- Ensure that specific Backlog items are understood and can be selected for inclusion within Sprint Backlogs, ensuring that items are implemented in line with the approved scope.
- Providing accurate status reports to the Design Authority and Project Manager.
Skills & experience:
- Experience of all aspects across the software development lifecycle.
- Experience of working in an Agile development environment using both Scrum and Kanban
- Define and elicit detailed system & software requirements, translating these into Use Cases.
- An understanding of system level architecture as well as knowledge of cross platform development.
- The ability to conduct design, code and unit test inspections, reviews, and walkthroughs.
- Knowledge of development in C/C++ on Linux.
