We are working with a fantastic Secondary School Located in Leicester and are on the lookout for an experienced and skilled Behaviour Mentor. This role is working within the school setting and is to commence immediately.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work oneonone or in small groups with students to address specific behavioural challenges and provide guidance on positive alternatives.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to develop and implement behaviour intervention plans.
- Foster a positive and inclusive school culture by organizing and participating in initiatives that promote positive behaviour and student wellbeing.
- Monitor and track student progress, maintaining accurate records of interventions and outcomes.
- Provide support during challenging situations, helping students develop coping strategies and conflict resolution skills.
- Participate in team meetings and professional development sessions to stay informed about best practices in behaviour management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in
Education,
Psychology,
Social Work, or a related field. - Proven experience working with secondary school students in a behaviour support role.
- Strong understanding of
behaviour management strategies and intervention techniques. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Empathy and patience when working with students facing behavioural challenges.
