My client based in the Attercliffe area of Sheffield is looking for an experienced Trailer Fitter.

The Company


Our client is the world-leader in high-pressure Gas and Hydrogen containment and have 125 years' knowledge and experience with clients such as Ministry Of Defence (MOD), BOC and Naval.

The Opportunity

We require Trailer Fitters to join our client on a temp to perm basis for the next stage of their recruitment plan

Main Duties of The Position

Strip and rebuild gas transportation trailers as per SOP's (Standard Operating Procedures)

Correct storage and allocation of old and new parts

Ensure adherence to daily, weekly, and monthly expectations

Maintain a safe and clean work environment complying to the 5s standards

Collection and input of data onto appropriate recording systems


Mandatory Qualification:
NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Fitting


Requirements:


  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience using hand tools such as air tools, spanners and grinders etc

Desirable:

  • Experience in Pneumatic / Hydraulic
  • Understanding of assembly drawings
  • Experience in working to close tolerances
  • Overhead Crane experience
  • Welding experience
  • Gas cutting experience
  • FLT Experience
  • Working at Heights
  • Lean Manufacturing
Working hours - Monday to Thursday 06:30 - 16:15

Overtime Available on Friday
