We are seeking a Building and Customer Safety Administrator to join Cornerstone in our Property Services Team

As Building and Customer Safety Administrator your main tasks will be to

OVERALL AIMS OF THE JOB
1.1 Support the delivery of high quality, customer focused and safety compliant administration for all Cornerstone properties.

Support the Business and Customer Safety Manager in the following areas:


  • Booking appointments, communicating with operatives and customers, and maintaining accurate records for Gas safety, Electrical safety, Fire safety, Asbestos, Water Hygiene, Lifts, Radon and all other compliance and facilities related matters across the housing and office stock.
  • To lead on the administration and coordination of property services compliance programmes, supporting the organisation to deliver a consistent, high quality, customer focused service which addresses all aspects of Landlord Health and Safety compliance.
  • Assisting with compliance reporting for auditing and assurance purposes.

MAIN TASKS:

2.1. Arranging appointments with customers, operatives and contractors for all aspects of compliance.

2.2. Checking and filing all inspection reports and compliance certificates in the relevant location.

2.3. Arranging any remedial works following inspections or servicing.

2.4. Proactively monitor compliance work programmes and activity due dates to ensure all works are completed in a timely manner.

2.5. Assist contractors with appointment making and successfully gaining access to properties to carried out required tasks.

2.6. Support Cornerstone's compliance activities for all buildings, sites, and spaces.

2.7. Assist the Void Manager in ensuring empty properties are fully compliant prior to reletting.

2.8.

Support the effective monitoring and management performance of contractors both internal and externally to ensure works are delivered to the required quality standard, on time and to budget.

2.9. Produce detailed performance and analysis reports identifying upcoming trends and patterns in volumes, expenditure, and customer satisfaction.

2.10.

Maintain existing housing and asset compliance systems & data bases to enable the delivery of a 'right first time' responsive repairs service and compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements.

3.7 Ensure Cornerstone's financial procedures are followed.

3.8 Work efficiently and effectively with a focus on value for money.

3.9 Take ownership of your own professional development as relevant to your role.


3.10 Keep all duties of the post-holder under review and make recommendations for any improvements in policies and procedures to your line manager.

3.11 Occasional after-hours work may be required within the scope of the role.

3.12 Any other duties appropriate to your position as may be identified from time to time.


Basic eligibility

  • Right to work within the United Kingdom.
  • Satisfactory Basic DBS check
  • Two references (one must be current or most recent employment)

  • Asbestos, Legionella, Fire risk Assessment etc. qualifications
  • To be working towards a professional qualification in the housing sector.

Experience and knowledge
Essential

  • Be able to demonstrate working knowledge and experience of computers, systems, and databases. To operate ICT hardware and systems in line with protocols, in an effective and efficient way, receiving and updating accurate and relative information when required and in real time.
