    **Job Summary**

    We are seeking a skilled Physiotherapist to join our team as a Functional Assessor. This role offers a great work-life balance, a rewarding income, and a supportive environment.

    About the Role

    In this position, you will play a crucial role in the functional and disability assessments process. You will work autonomously to assess cases for the Personal Independence Payment (PIP) benefit or a Work Capability Assessment (WCA) as part of the DWP's Health Assessment and Advisory Services (HAAS).

    • You will hold consultations with individuals applying for PIP or WCA and write fair and accurate reports using a specialized IT system.
    • Assessing a variety of complex conditions and impairments requires strong verbal communication skills and attention to detail.

    Key Responsibilities

    1. Holding telephone, video, or in-person consultations with individuals who are applying for PIP or WCA.
    2. Working closely with your line manager to advance your professional development and career as a Functional Assessor.

    Essential Experience and Qualifications

    • A minimum of 12 months post-registration experience working as a Physiotherapist.
    • Full registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) is required.
