Description
We are seeking an experienced Legal Secretary to work in our Chesterfield or Sheffield office.Full training will be given.
Duties to be covered include:
- Supporting a team of lawyers.
- Providing general secretarial and administration services including audio typing/digital dictation.
- Attending to clients both on the telephone and in person.
- Dealing accurately with filing, storage and retrieval of client files/documents in line with filing systems.
- Completing file setups accurately and speedily in line with company procedures.
- Amending and formatting legal documents in line with company style.
- Making appointments, arranging meetings and maintaining an uptodate diary.
- Using photocopying equipment to achieve copies of the correct standard in line with requirements.
- Document finishing.
- Ensuring confidentiality and security of all the firm's and client documentation and/or information.
- Previous experience as a legal secretary is essential
- Good attention to detail
- Flexible attitude and ability to adapt
- Professional and courteous
- Team player
