Description

Metalis are currently working with a long standing client who are industry leaders within their field, and work frequently with the rail industry.


They are looking for an additional service engineer to join their current team of 3, to undertake both site and service based tasks.


Duties:


  • To carry out planned preventative maintenance tasks as directed by Site & Service Manager on manufactured equipment.
  • Undertake fault finding and inspections on equipment and report back to the customer.
  • To attend emergency breakdowns when on call to identify faults and if possible carry out effective repairs both mechanical and electrical.
  • Installation and commissioning of equipment.
  • Mechanical assembly site based, and testing of mechanical equipment.
  • Undertake schedules training sessions as and when required.
  • Apprentice trained in an engineering discipline.
  • Experience working within a similar service role or maintenance role.
  • Able to meet the demands of a service role, including occasional stop overs.
  • Driving license.

What is on offer:


  • Salary of £30,000 £35,000 dependant on experience.

  • Meal allowance on stop overs.
  • Premium call out rate (once every 4 weeks).
