A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Procurement Officer to support the Procurement & Risk Manager to ensure end to end procurement activity is being undertaken effectively and compliantly, whilst maximising best value for money and social value outcomes.

Along with co-ordinating and carrying out end to end tender exercises, the role-holder will establish project teams and provide guidance, advice and support on procurement/e-tendering system matters for all staff.

You will support the function in ensuring procurement activity is carried out in accordance with agreed deadlines and in compliance with relevant legislation and Regulations, reviewing spend data, assisting in the production of performance metrics and identifying opportunities for improvements.

To succeed you'll have gained Procurement experience across a wide range of categories, be a great communicator with experience in negotiation, a highly effective influencer and problem solver with the ability to manage a busy and diverse workload.
