Permanent Customer Service Advisor
£23,000- £25,000 + lots of benefits

Immediate start available

Based on the outskirts of Colchester, this company is established and has recently celebrated their 20 th anniversary. They are on the lookout for dynamic and experienced Customer Service individuals who can join their team of eight.

The team are welcoming, friendly, and willing to support and share their knowledge with anyone new that joins them. The office is open plan and overlooks the beautiful Essex countryside. Perfect on those hot sunny days where you can take your lunch into the grounds.

They are based in a remote location and so is only accessible via your own transport. This will not suit non-drivers or those that rely on public transport.


Ideally you will have experience or knowledge of the insurance industry, however this isn't essential as all training will be given.

Within this busy and fast paced role, you will be supporting and communicating with customers via the phone. So, if you are confident and enjoy using the phone this could be a great position for you

Responsibilities:


  • Handling inbound phone calls from customers and taking important information accurately
  • Always providing the highest level of customer service
  • Actively listening to each individual customer and their needs
  • Working to tight timeframes
  • Review the data given and establish whether these can be approved
  • Make outbound calls to update customers on their claims and the next steps
  • Arranging with contractors and external teams' appointments
  • Obtaining job updates
  • Coordinating diaries and updating the CRM system in real time
  • Gaining feedback from customers
  • Checking invoices against authorised budgets
  • Working closely with internal teams
  • General administration that comes naturally with this position

Monday-Friday

37.5 hours - 8.5 hours a day with an hour for lunch

8am-6pm on a fortnightly rota basis of 8am-4.30pm or 9.30am-6.00pm
