Daily hours

25 hours per week, worked between Monday - Friday

TERM TIME ONLY (Term time + 12.5hrs)

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a friendly and welcoming reception area for all parents, students and visitors;
  • Liaise with taxi/ bus and RCC school transport for pupils within school who access RCC transport;
  • First point of contact for parents with routine queries and liaise with Rutland County Council, external agencies and parents as required;
  • Sort and distribute incoming and outgoing mail;
  • Undertake routine administrative tasks, including typing all correspondence, scanning documents and filing in line with the requirements of the department;
  • Support Senior SEND administrator with accurate diary management, for SENCo and AAP and the AET trainers at both UCC and Oakham C of E;
  • Liaise with the AET Admin team and report on all training delivered as per DofE guidance.
  • Attend monthly AET admin meetings online;
  • Send out ART information and marketing material to Rutland School and calendar training events;
  • Assist with planning and set up of open evenings, tours and taster days;
  • Update students profiles with relevant SEN information;
  • Assist with inputting annual review and pre annual review dates in school diary and ensuring reports from the main school are received;
  • AET administration;
  • To take notes at annual review meetings;
  • Admin support for collecting and distribution of annual review packs;
  • Help with administration of clubs for Mainstream+ and ERP students;
  • Maintain room bookings for all areas of SEND (ERP/ Redhill Lodge/ Maple Lodge);
  • Assist with the administration of trips for ERP/ Mainstream+
  • First Aider for ERP & Fire Warden.
  • Collect students from lessons to attend routine, scheduled appointments.
  • Meet and greet parents at reception and escort to relevant meeting. Collect students from reception on arrival.
