Do you have experience with facilities management and have a willingness to grow and develop? This may be the role for you, we are lookingfor a Senior Facilities Technician to manage and oversee the smooth running of the organisations North Wales sites.

In the Senior Facilities Technician role, you will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring all Power Systems are correctly maintained, tested, always labelled and available for use
  • Ensuring that the maintenance and annual inspection of power delivery systems are carried out in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and standards of integrity
  • Performing basic diagnostics and being able to identify where problems occur on systems or controls
  • Carrying out basic repair and maintenance tasks and identifying where jobs need specialist contractors to be engaged, spec jobs and obtain quotes
  • Work across trade barriers to cover other trades as and when necessary
  • Provide technical and general support for projects through all phases; including, but not limited to, requirements gathering, design development, construction, and commissioning and testing
  • Regularly review with the Facilities Shared Service Manager the status of all projects
The successful Senior Facilities Technician will have the following skills and experience:

  • Working knowledge of Generators, Fire and Intruder Alarm Systems, Air con Systems, LV Switchgear, Power Supplies and Control Systems
  • Experience with managing contractors and projects
  • Have strong organisational and communication skills
  • Be a good team player and the ability to work on own initiative
  • A proactive and flexible attitude with willingness to learn
  • Good knowledge and understanding of Health & Safety
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise to meet deadlines
  • Hold a full UK driving license
  • Good working understanding of MS office software including Excel, Word, and MS Teams
This is a permanent, full-time role working 37.5 hours per week from Monday to Friday.

The role is based in near Llandudno and is on a salary ranging from £26,000 - £29,000 per annum depending on skills and experience plus, benefits including flexible privatemedical & dental care programme and employee assistance programme.
