Salary:
£23,944 - £25,205


Location: 33 Staple Gardens, Winchester, SO23 8SR - 5 days a week onsite working

Contract:
Permanent, Full time (35 hours per week)

Role Overview
We are looking for a
Facilities Assistant to join our fantastic Facilities division.

This role will be responsible for providing a customer focused service to support the efficient operation and maintenance of the Group's office and other site facilities.


Key responsibilities:


  • Post
  • Manage incoming/outgoing post in the most cost effective way, ensuring systems and equipment are fully operational at all times
  • Building Management: Conduct regular building inspections, resolving or reporting maintenance issues repairs, health and safety and supplies issues and monitoring to ensure completion. Work with the Facilities reporting system
  • Space Management: Book and organise office spaces, including arranging furniture and hospitality. Ensuring office space is utilised and fit for purpose
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory of supplies and equipment throughout the site, ensuring that stock levels are maintained and orders are placed in a timely manner
  • Assist in Projects: Support various facilityrelated projects, including renovations, office relocations, and installations
  • Contractor Coordination: Liaise with external vendors and contractors for services such as cleaning, maintenance, and repairs. Escalating issues regarding quality of service and adherence to company to management and site inductions
  • Administrative Tasks: Responsible for resolving customer queries in a timely manner, maintaining records, data and filing systems and supporting the Facilities management team with general administrative tasks as required
  • Team support: Provide cover for colleagues as required to ensure all team tasks are effectively delivered at all times
  • Assist with processing orders and invoices, receipt of goods, booking in and receipting items

More about you

  • Educated to GCSE level or equivalent in Maths and English (Grades A
  • C)
  • Basic MS Office skills and willingness to learn new systems
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, showing initiative and problem solving capabilities
  • Experience in a similar customer facing role
