An exciting opportunity has arisen within The Integrated Community Care Directorate, we are seeking a Part Time Workforce Support Officer to join our Flexible Workforce Team.


The team provide high quality, confidential administration service on behalf of the Flexible Workforce Service (FWF), they are the first point of contact for FWF staff and those wishing to book staff for shifts.


To manage the recruitment of high quality nursing staff, AHPs and health care support workers to the Flexible Workforce Service (Community Staff Bank) and to respond in a timely matter to requests from other services for these staff to cover gaps in their workforce.


The role will involve working in close collaboration with the Workforce Support Coordinator and the ICT Business Manager to ensure delivery across a wide range of tasks.


There is daily contact with a wide range of managers and staff from all areas within the Combined Community and Acute Care Group and all levels of clinical staff.


The post holder will be required to exercise judgement and initiative in dealing with issues which arise on a daily basis.

The team comprises of physiotherapists, occupational therapists, nurses, rehabilitation and therapy assistants, generic healthcare assistants, pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, mental health nurses, speech and language therapists, management and administrative staff; who work with predominantly older adults to provide rehabilitation and support in their own homes where possible.
