About the role:

The Training Coordinator will report to the Pre-Operations Lead.

They will carry out a range of tasks to support the development and implementation of both the O&M Training Programme and the Start-Up Team Training requirements.

They will utilise the required systems and associated practices through the life cycle of the project to ensure they support the Pre-Operations Lead.


Responsibilities
Work as part of a team to facilitate the following:

  • Tracking, Monitoring and Reporting to deliver training scope
  • Collate and report key metrics / SRP Start-Up KPI reporting
  • Collaborative working with PPP, Project and SL training teams to ensure training compliance
  • Maintain training records and associated information, including training databases
  • Scheduling of L&D sessions, liaising with SME's/Instructors
  • Carry out audits to ensure compliance of systems
  • Monitor/update/maintain Training/SQEP status of Start-Up team (including Contractors), including prompting of what/when training required
  • Understand the vision, goals, and strategies to deliver SRP Start-Up Programme a to support successful project delivery
  • Resource Management Support
  • Sharing LFE & Cross Project Communications
  • Inputting progress into inhouse training trackers and schedules
  • Monitoring and Tracking of Escalations & Actions
  • Weekly/Monthly Project Reports for Commissioning Activities

Essentials
The role holder will be expected to have a working knowledge in the following areas:

  • Able to work within part of a team
  • Understand Quality Assurance of associated project records
  • Auditing, surveillance and reporting of work activities
  • Onboarding of new starters (and manage offboarding arrangements)

Desirables:


  • Have nuclear sector experience, including working within large scale projects.
  • Working knowledge of effective Health & Safety arrangements
  • Able to travel to on occasion and as required, to other work locations such as Risley and works test facilities.
  • Knowledge of developing and maintaining web pages/hubs such as Sharepoint.
  • Experience of PowerBi and/or similar reporting tools.
