Sales Director UK & Europe

Feel you are an energetic business development and sales leader?


If so, we are keen to talk to you as we are delighted to be working with an international group who are seeking an experienced Sales Director to lead their sales function within UK & Europe region.

Based in London, you will have experience of 'solutionsbased' propositions into institutional clients (Asset Managers primarily) as well as successfully motivating others to exceed team targets.


Reporting directly to the Group CEO, this is a newly created position this opportunity is to increased business revenues and commercial opportunities.

Within the role, your core responsibilities will be sales management, driving strategy and initiativesto grow revenue (personal & team), market share and increase profitability by deepening client relationships.


What you'll do:

  • Oversee and manage the daytoday sales distribution requirements, to deliver revenue and profitability targets.
  • Lead a team of 6 sales specialists and 3 account managers, focusing on acceleration of new business sales and existing account retention.
  • Mentor, the team to establish rigor in their businesses, develop talent, and deliver improvements to the sales model.

What you will bring to the team:

  • Results-oriented leader, with excellent communications skills, to fire imaginations and create consensus across teams.
  • Entrepreneurial thinker, with a knowledge of digital technology solutions, customer industry challenges and business generally.
  • Significant experience and success, operating in the B2B sales arena, in the asset management or insurance sectors, with a proven track record managing teams and hitting sales targets.
  • A passionate enabler of individuals and teams to build lasting organisational capability across the entire customer journey.
