Position
Applications are invited for a Quality Control / Technical Administrator based at our SecAnim Ltd, Widnes Site. This is a full time, permanent position working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

The role involves gathering, recording, and reporting technical data to internal and external stakeholders.

It also includes carrying out office related tasks, inclusive of financial tasks and reporting, and also ensuring that Health & Safety, along with compliance is adhered to.


Requirements:


  • Be involved with quality and technical processes and procedures, along with providing support and training to employees in relation to Operational, Health and Safety, Environmental procedures.
  • Ensure the site compliance of all HACCP and DEFRA guidelines and legislation.
  • Responsible for accurate document control systems, including accurately updating changes to Quality Systems documents.
  • Preparing data and a key contact for and during onsite Audits for customers.
  • Preparing data for onsite Audits for customers.
  • Carrying out Internal Audits including GMP audits as required.
  • Assisting with daytoday tasks in the Laboratory, including routine testing of samples as required.
  • Communicate with government bodies and update data held on Web based registers.
  • Environmental and general compliance under IPPC regulations and EMS 14001 accreditation.
  • Provide support to the Site Operations Manager and assist with the preparation of management and statutory reporting requirements.
  • Complete daily, weekly, and monthly reports within required timescales.
  • Be involved with various project work.
  • To provide general support to the Finance team.

Person:


  • Experience of working within a manufacturing / factory environment.
  • Previous experience working with Quality Systems / HACCP systems, in a Quality environment.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • The ability to produce reports and communicate findings effectively.
  • Acquired a Level 3 HACCP qualification.
  • Have a good understanding of Health & Safety legislation and quality control (HACCP) in the workplace.
  • The ability to work well individually and in a team.
  • Be selfmotivated with a desire to succeed and develop own skills and knowledge.
  • Have good decisionmaking skills and be able to prioritise the workload.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to converse at all levels.
  • Experience of working within an administrative and / or financial function is desirable but not essential.
