Job summary


The Help Foundation is seeking a passionate and motivated intern to join our fledgling team at the start of our impactful and exciting journey.

As Marketing & Engagement Intern, your immediate focus will be to promote overseas projects to increase volunteer engagement.

  • Location: Glasgow.

Expenses:This is a volunteering opportunity with job-related expenses compensated.

  • Duration
    :Minimum commitment:
- *3 months. Opportunity for paid full-time internship on successful completion of initial 3 months.


Person specification criteria

  • Experience_
Office-based administration (desirable)

Digital marketing and/or social media use in a professional setting (desirable)

  • Skills and abilities_
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Excellent oral, written and presentation skills

Excellent attention to detail

Organised and proactive, able to work on projects independently when required

Team player with adaptable and pragmatic approach to work

Excellent IT skills and ability to learn new programmes quickly.

  • Knowledge_
Some knowledge about marketing trends, platforms, etc.

Communications tools / techniques for different audiences

  • Training/Education_
Relevant degree or equivalent work experience in marketing, communication, journalism, third sector, etc.

  • Your CV (maximum two sides of A4);
  • A cover letter (maximum one side of A4) detailing your suitability for this role; and
