Role Overview

We are currently looking for an individual to join the Security Department in the role of Security Guard, working 4on4off, rotating 07:00 - 19:00 / 19:00 - 07:00.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor the premises to prevent theft or other unusual activities
Manning of the Security Lodge
Patrol activities around the site
Stop & Search activities around the site
Support of management & staff in emergency or security incidents as required
Booking in of contractors arriving to site via the Security Lodge
Booking in of visitors arriving to site via the Security Lodge
To ensure that Health & Safety procedures and best practice are followed on site as far as reasonably practicable

Key Specific Skill Requirements:

Previous experience of customer service preferred
Must have excellent written and oral communication skills
Numeracy and Literacy skills essential
Computer Literacy skills required
Experience of security officer duties ideal but not essential (i.e. law knowledge, patrolling security premises, surveillance)
Must have attention to detail
