The Role:
- Ensuring all customs entries for imports and exports are compliant in order to prevent delays to customer cargo
- Having a good working knowledge of trade compliance and ensuring this is communicated throughout the organisation
- Assisting with the coordination of internal and external audits
- Helping to drive continuous improvement throughout the organisation
- Supporting colleagues in other departments where required
- Knowledge of either import or export customs clearance is essential
- Able to commute to Skelmersdale on a daily basis
- Fantastic interpersonal skills
- Driven and self motivated
