The Production Planner will plan and organise the execution of the production planning for all Value Added Services (VAS) activities that are produced at our Holford warehouse.

The role supports all actions that enable the business to deliver our products on time and in full, in accordance with the production plan as well as looking for potential improvements, including cost and process efficiencies working collaboratively with the production team.

90/10 rotation between operational tasks and project support, dependent upon seasonal production.


Your Tasks:


  • Create daily and weekly plan for all VAS activities (Repack, gifting, prefilled units, and rework) to ensure the finished good demand is produced in full and on time.
  • Communicate with the VAS team and the demand planner on the current capacity and any risks to the production.
  • Readjust the production plan based on actuals and align with the shift manager and stock controller on next day productions.
  • Provide prioritisation for the production schedule and allocate/reallocate the resources accordingly.
  • Update the capacity planning (26 weeks projection) file to reflect our production capacity and escalate any risk to the VAS manager
  • Keep an uptodate file with run rates, targets, and logístical information.
  • Create the weekly orders for stock transfer ensuring the stock is available in full and on time for production.
  • Order any consumables and other products that are necessary for production.
  • Book delivery slots for any consumables and products.
  • Raise annual purchase orders and other adhoc purchase order as required
  • Constant use of SAP to make sure all information and data flows are organized
  • Send the weekly manpower requirement to the labour agency provider.
  • Work with the labour agency provider on ensuring we have the correct roles in place to successfully cover the production plan.

Your Profile:


  • Ideally three years minimum logistics and/or production planning experience.
  • Organised and able to selforganise and prioritise.
  • Able to quickly develop strong and effective internal and external relationships, such as suppliers.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel (Excel, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • SAP experience (inbound, and outbound creation, transfer order, Purchase orders, inventory).
  • Ability to manage at different levels (stakeholder management).
  • Be able to identify & lead efficiency projects.
  • Good resilience under pressure, with a problemsolving mindset.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proactive, pragmatic, costconscious and results driven.
  • FMCG experience is desirable.
