Administer clients' insurance requirements by providing broking and processing support to the Asset Management team in accordance with the relevant Company and/or Group policies to achieve targets, develop the business and deliver an excellent and comprehensive service.

Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities

Client

  • Develop strong relationships with immediate team and Divisional teams
  • Assist team to deal with incoming enquiries from clients, insurers and third parties
  • Assist with client renewal process and midterm adjustments
  • Behave with all involved parties, both internal and external, fairly and ethically
  • Broking Process_
  • Assist in the creation of comprehensive client broking and other types of documents
  • Creation of slips, quotes, indications and endorsements
  • Organise files and electronic records
  • Ensure up to date records are maintained at all times on the Company's/Group's systems for the rest of the team to access, developing new filing systems where appropriate
  • Interpret instructions and issues arising, and then implement actions according to policies and procedures
Skills and abilities needed to perform role

  • Attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate documentation in a timely fashion
  • Ability to work effectively within a team
  • Ability to prioritise and organize work
  • Compentent IT skills, including but not limited to Microsoft Workd, Excel and Power Point
  • Able to establish strong client focused relationships built upon the ability to deliver a high standard of service
  • Able to react positively to change resilient and calm under pressure
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with internal and external stakeholders
  • Able to undertake and demonstrate competence in technical training, as required by the industry regulator
Knowledge and Experience

  • Previous experience of working in technical/broker support role advantageous but not necessary
  • Basic technical knowledge of FCA regulations as they pertain to insurance intermediaries
  • Understanding of processes and procedures within the insurance market
Professional Qualifications

  • GCSE's (or equivalent) including English and Maths essential
  • A levels or equivalent are desirable
