The Role

The firm are seeking to recruit a Commercial Associate 1-3 PQE into their City of London office.

The Commercial department is highly ranked in the Legal 500 and Chambers, it is currently flourishing and has been steadily growing over the last 24 months, with plans to continue to grow in line with increased workflow.

It is a vibrant and hard-working team, their achievements over the last 5 years are incredible.

The role offers excellent variety and they're looking for someone with a high degree of technical competence in all areas of commercial law, with the ability to think commercially to understand what is important on a potential deal.

In this role, you will, under the supervision of the partner, be responsible for the day-to-day running of matters and will think through client issues, analyse the law/practicalities and offer commercial solutions.

You will be supervise trainees, giving you an extra string to the bow in leadership skills.

You will hold a good degree of responsibility and benefit from a good level of client contact.

The work will include supporting clients with individually tailored legal advice, in areas such as:

Technology and Software Contracts
IP Agreements
Sponsorship & Marketing Contracts
Agency & Distribution Contracts
R&D Agreements
Franchising Contracts
Outsourcing Contracts
Services Agreements
Joint Venture Agreements

Requirements:

You will be a
Commercial Associate (England & Wales Qualified Solicitor) with
13 years of PQE:
You will be a commercially minded individual
Being able to deliver the highest level of client service is essential
Salary is very competitive and negotiable depending on your level of experience, you will also receive a lucrative bonus structure and benefits package
