HR Support Apprentice Level 3:


Position Summary

What you'll do:

The Zircotec HR Manager provides a fully comprehensive HR service to approx 58 employees across the business. The HR Manager is seeking a motivated HR Apprentice to support them in all administration activities.

The role will provide efficient, effective, and professional, administrative support whilst working on a study programme to achieve a level 3 HR Support qualification It is expected that the post-holder will develop their skillset throughout the duration of the role and will be exposed to more areas of HR as they progress.

The apprenticeship is expected to last approx months.

  • Minimum of five GCSEs (or equivalent) grade 94, including English and Maths.

Key accountabilities:


  • Assist with recruitment activities such as posting job openings, screening resumes, and conducting interviews
  • Produce administration for on boarding employees including Medicals, contracts and offer letters
  • Process right to work documentation ensuring compliance
  • Input and maintain data in the HR database in a timely and accurate manner
  • Support low level ER escalating complex solutions as appropriate to the HR Manager
  • Proactively attend ER Meetings as company notetaker
  • Supporting HR employee lifecycle administration, including joiners, leavers, Learning & Development and contract amendments
  • Takes the initiative to meet agreed individual and team KPIs in line with company policy, vision, values, and standards

What it takes:
The role requires an articulate individual who can build and maintain effective and strong relationships with internal/external stakeholders. This is key in supporting positive change in HR policy and procedure adoption across Zircotec.


The individual should:

  • Be willing to Undertake CIPD Level 3 and comply with all requests from the apprenticeship provider including completing all assignments.
  • Be able to use Microsoft 365 including MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Enthusiastic; willing to learn and responds well to guidance/ instruction
  • Takes pride in their work; has good standards and is consistent
  • Good work ethic: willing to carry out tasks without being asked
  • Willing to work as a team; interacts positively with team members and staff
  • Basic time management skills
  • Tidy and organised
  • Highly punctual and reliable
  • Good communication skills
