Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teaching Assistant for a Client Primary School in
Ripon, North Yorkshire, starting in
March 2024.

EYFS Teaching Assistant Responsibilities:

Assist the class teacher in addressing the educational and social needs of students.
Provide 1:1 support to a pupil with complex needs.
Emphasize the development of social skills during lessons, exercise, and group sessions, focusing on life and communication skills as per the students' needs.
Collaborate with a lead teacher to support two vulnerable and complex learners.
Contribute to planning and preparing learning activities, resources, and materials for the EYFS curriculum.
Assist in assessments and maintain records of each child's development and learning.

Early Years Foundation Stage Teaching Assistant Requirements:

Encouragement for aspiring Pastoral Workers, Child Psychologists, Educational Psychologists, Clinical Psychologists, Occupational Therapists, SALTs, Counsellors, and Social Workers.
Previous experience in a school support role or relevant childrelated experience.
Display a caring and professional demeanor, willing to assist with the personal care of pupils.
Must possess the legal right to work in the UK.
