GSL Education are currently in search of an
Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teaching Assistant for a Client Primary School in
Ripon, North Yorkshire, starting in
March 2024.

EYFS Teaching Assistant Responsibilities:
- Assist the class teacher in addressing the educational and social needs of students.
- Provide 1:1 support to a pupil with complex needs.
- Emphasize the development of social skills during lessons, exercise, and group sessions, focusing on life and communication skills as per the students' needs.
- Collaborate with a lead teacher to support two vulnerable and complex learners.
- Contribute to planning and preparing learning activities, resources, and materials for the EYFS curriculum.
- Assist in assessments and maintain records of each child's development and learning.
Early Years Foundation Stage Teaching Assistant Requirements:
- Encouragement for aspiring Pastoral Workers, Child Psychologists, Educational Psychologists, Clinical Psychologists, Occupational Therapists, SALTs, Counsellors, and Social Workers.
- Previous experience in a school support role or relevant childrelated experience.
- Display a caring and professional demeanor, willing to assist with the personal care of pupils.
- Must possess the legal right to work in the UK.
