A leading, listed Professional Services firm is looking to hire an experienced Finance Manager due to the continued growth of the business.

Overall role responsibilities:

  • Assist with daytoday management of the Management Accounts team alongside the existing Finance Manager, contributing to the efficient running of the team by continuously looking to strengthen controls, suggest change, and introduce process improvements
  • Daytoday management of the team's production of timely & accurate monthly management accounts, helping to resolve daytoday team queries
  • Reviewing & posting of monthly journals for accrued and deferred revenue, accruals, depreciation, prepayments, operating expenses etc; identifying and helping resolve discrepancies to ensure accuracy of monthly reports
  • Review selected sales invoices to ensure high accuracy rate
  • Assist with Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable process oversight to ensure client collections and supplier payments are up to date
  • Review team's monthly balance sheet reconciliations ensuring that they are uptodate and accurate
  • Prepare monthly Group recharges and ensure intercompany reconciliation is completed monthly
  • Assist with monthly foreign currency revaluation process
  • Assist with preparation of statutory entity tax and statutory filings and other reporting deadlines,
  • Assist with the production of the monthly Board reporting packs, as required
  • Assist with providing year end information to the Group auditors

Key skills and experience:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with strong management accounting experience and a track record of managing a Finance team
  • Firstclass interpersonal skills, with ability to influence and help lead and the finance team both local and remote shared service members
  • Strong Excel skills, strong IT systems skills, good knowledge of SAGE
