The Role:
A new position has now been created for a C++ Software Engineer to join our client's software design team as they work to develop a new range of products whilst modernising several of their existing products.
The ideal SoftwareEngineer will be strong programming with both C++ and Python and ideally be comfortable in both windows and Linux environments.
In this role the successful Software Engineer will be joining a small development team and will be given the opportunity to contribute throughout the full development cycle, using modern design practices whilst having the chance to develop new skills acrossa range of exciting new projects.
So, experience across the full software stack is ideal whilst an appreciation or experienceworking with hardware or at the embedded level is desirable.
This role will best suit an experienced Software Engineer who is looking for variety in their daily tasks, enjoys working throughout the full life cycle and is able to manage their own time and workload.
Skills and Experience Required:
- C++
- Python
- Linux and windows environments (ideally)
- TCP/IP networking, sockets and threads
Desirable Skills and Experience:
- Git version control
- Docker, Flatpak, Snap or similar
- Jenkins buileder
