An exciting time to join our highly profitable and expanding Financial Services client as Finance Business Partner.

Reporting to Senior Finance Business Partner for Transformation & Change, you will support Project Managers in their delivery of accurateproject cost tracking and forecasting and to Finance partner them on all aspects of Finance.

This role is all about

Producing the monthly consolidated project accounts for both the Grow and Transformation portfolio's, with supporting explanations for review by the Senior Leadership Team and Change & Transformation Leadership Team on a timely, accurate and costeffectivebasis. Ensuring they are maintained in compliance with the laid down controls and procedures.
Undertaking monthly project assurance reviews, change request and decision gate reviews.
Assuring the utilisation of cost centre reviews and high light and budget risks.
Undertaking capital sweeps to ensure assets under the course of construction are accurately recorded.
To answer Project Manager financial queries, provide challenge and also to provide financial counsel in relation to matters such as accruals and budget queries
Developing the Financial Acumen of Project Managers and training them in financial process, procedure and review
Reviewing with Project Managers invoice coding to ensure that all project costs are accurately reflected in the monthly reporting
Assist with year end and provide consolidated project accounts

About you

You will be a qualified Accountant (ACA, CA, ACCA, CIMA) or QBE. with experience of working in a finance function. Experience of project accounting (including how projects are costed), change or transformation is preferential.

You will have initiative toproactively identify risk and clear issues as well as having the ability to find the root cause and articulate solutions and implement accordingly.

Developed communication and collaboration skills are imperative including the ability to build and sustain relationships,challenge back when required and provide training.

Salary up to £55,000 (DOE) + Bonus + Benefits. Our client offers working-from-home, but with the need to attend two meetings per month at their Carlisle site. This could reduce to one day once settled in post. For further information on this opportunitycontact Stuart Ringland
