MUST BE NVQ LEVEL 2 0R 3 QUALIFIED IN CHILDCARE.We are seeking a reliable childcare practitioner with lots of energy and patience.
Job type:
PART TIME, 20+ HOURS PER WEEK.
Permanent position, must able able to work between the hours of 8am - 6pm, Monday to Friday.
All applicants must have:
- Level 2 or 3 qualification in Early Years Practice
- GCSE grade A
- C in English and maths or equivalent
- Good organisation skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Excellent communication skills
Your main roles will be to:
- To safeguard and promote the welfare of the children
- Interact and play with children
- To support a group of children through the key person role
- Support children's learning and development daily
- To gain good professional relationships with key children and their families
- Complete individual observations, assessments and planning for your key children
- To monitor key children's progress through termly trackers
- Set up an engaging environment and activities
- Assist with personal care, i.e. nappy changes, potty training and toileting
- Recognise children as individuals, ensuring their needs are recognised and met
- Follow direction from senior staff and managment as well as using own initiative
- Uphold the standards and reputation of the setting at all times
