A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a part time Spa Receptionist to join us at Daffodil Hotel & Spa in Grasmere.

Role ideally suited to someone looking to work 3 or 4 days per week.

In addition to offering a salary up to £10.60 per hour, plus approx.

The Role:


  • Providing an orientation for all guests visiting our spa
  • Working as part of a team of Receptionists to deliver outstanding guest service
  • Assisting in driving the financial performance of the spa including retail, sales, treatment scheduling and upselling
  • Be responsible for all billing procedures at the reception desk and closing down spa
  • Deal with queries and effectively offer advice on products and treatments available, including spa package deals
  • Preparing reception area for the next opening day
  • Ensure reception, locker area, spa area are kept clean and up to standard
  • Answering telephone enquiries and booking appointments for guests
  • Assist in the daily running and administration of the spa
  • Adhere to all health and safety policies
  • Assist with general housekeeping duties within the spa
  • Cleaning and maintaining the rasul

The Person:


  • Previous experience in a similar role would be preferred
  • A friendly and polite demeanour
  • Ability to work well as a member of the team and hotel family
  • Committed to professional excellence
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Excellent understanding of client care and five star standards
  • A genuine interest in Spa & Wellbeing.
