If you're a marketer with events experience, looking for a new challenge in a tight-knit team, this could be the role for you We're looking for a dedicated Marketing and Events Coordinator to be the main point of contact for industry events and to manage company events both internally and externally.


The role will be challenging and fast-paced; you'll be expected to meet tight deadlines, handle various projects, and manage your time effectively.


Key responsibilities:


  • Planning, organising and executing internal and external events, from conception to completion. This includes liaising with external vendors, managing budgets, and coordinating logistics to ensure a successful event from start to finish.
  • Managing and maintaining event calendars, ensuring that all industry events are booked and scheduled effectively and efficiently, making necessary adjustments where needed.
  • Working with the team to oversee bookings, ensuring that all required resources are available.
  • Working closely with the Marketing Director and Sales department to develop and implement marketing strategies, track results, and adjust as needed.
  • Providing administrative support to the Marketing Director and sales team, including managing and maintaining marketing collateral, raising purchase orders, and sending digital communications, pre and post events.
  • Liaising with key stakeholders across the organisation to ensure marketing activities / events attended align with company goals.
  • Copywriting and editing of content.
  • Working with the team to develop and publish engaging content online including LinkedIn and the website.
  • Identifying and proposing internal/external ideas and initiatives to help promote general awareness of company brand.
  • Providing full support to all daytoday marketing activities as required.

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Marketing or related field.
  • 3+ years of proven experience in event planning and marketing administration.

Skills and attributes required for success:

  • Experience using digital marketing tools such as CMS, CRM and social media.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fastpaced environment.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise, manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise with all levels of stakeholders, both internally and externally.
  • Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy when completing tasks.
  • Experience working in a dynamic environment with changing priorities.
  • Excellent IT skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Flexibility to work outside of standard working hours when required.
  • Ability to manage budgets and negotiate with suppliers.
  • The ability to remain calm under pressure and respond appropriately to complex problems.
  • Speaks fluent English.

Office location
Our office is a 5 minute walk from Bank Station.

We are based in a WeWork meaning open office space, regular social events, free beer tap daily (after 4pm) and lots of regular freebies.


Contractual hours
Full time contact. 37.5 hour per week.

£27,500.00-£30,000.00 per year
