I am keen to speak to a 7+ PQE Partner for a growing Dispute Resolution department in a full-service commercial law firm based in Newcastle.

They have a stand-out reputation in a variety of commercial sectors and provide a comprehensive range of legal services to clients throughout England and Wales.

They act for PLCs, SMEs, office holders, financial advisors, accountants, owner managed businesses and stakeholders.


The Partner will work on a wide range of commercial litigation matters including complex contractual disputes, property disputes and professional negligence claims.

In addition, the role includes some Insolvency based work including bringing claims against former directors and third parties; dealing with a variety of claims under Insolvency Act 1986 and claims under Companies Act 2006.

The role will suit someone looking for a fast paced environment who can handle pressure and be effective within a team.


The client is looking for a motivated Dispute Resolution Partner who has worked with a wide range of clients including directors, partners, companies, LLPs, banks, and finance institutions.

With this calibre of clientele, you will harbour an excellent knowledge of contract law, CPR, Companies Act, directors' duties and Insolvency Act.

As such, evidence of developing this workload in the past with a good billing history.

As a Partner, you will have the ability to manage junior fee earners and further train them for internal development.

The client is flexible on salary and understands it's not one-salary fits all.

They are open to a sensible and reasonable conversation and happy to accommodate a salary for an experienced Dispute Resolution Partner.

There is no emphasis on a following given the existing workload, but salary can be reflected should you have.
