Background / about the role

We are looking for a Head of Data with outstanding leadership skills to join the leading distribution service provider in the mobile games industry.

We provide cutting-edge marketing services. Our patented technology is at the heart of that services and the new products we continue to develop.


What you'll do

• Lead our growing Data team and solve challenges across the business
• Be the strategic vision holder and a leading voice of the Data team at a company level
• Work collaboratively with multiple internal and external stakeholders including our product, commercial, UA and Finance teams and our external customers
• Work closely with the finance team to ensure our data is compliant and provided correctly at all time
• Continue to develop and own our data ecosystem (infrastructure & tooling) to ensure we are using the right tools to accomplish our objectives
• Work with our technology team to ensure data integration between systems, transactions and other data is usable for the Data team
• Lead the development of reporting systems and processes
• Ensure that information is accurate and readily accessible for both operational and strategic reporting purposes, and that systems are integrated to reduce data anomalies
• Ensure data requirements are clearly and consistently defined and understood
• Create Data products for our external customers and internal stakeholder, such as the marketing team

What we are looking for

• Proven experience in leading and growing data teams
• Ability to mentor and manage data roles, and develop best practices in the team;
• Experience understanding business problems, and ability to match them to the right statistical techniques
• Great communication skills, to clearly articulate your insights and develop our data culture
• Experience of data management solutions
• Track record of delivering commercial value from Data
• Minimum 5 years of experience working within Data and Analytics
• Ability to manage evolving data requirements, collaborating with department leads to make those requirements actionable
• Exposure to FP&A
