You will undertake an in-house training program for the first 6 months to help you attain basic knowledge for designing and estimating fire systems.
You will then gain experience over the next 3 to 4 years through a tailored personal development plan to become a fully qualified fire protection systems engineer.
Responsibilities
- Review tender documents and programmes of works.
- To assess scope of works of enquiries.
- Measuring and quantifying.
- To cost and assess value of contracts.
- Send enquiries to supply chain.
- To prepare tender documentation and presentations.
- Attending post tender meetings.
- Post contracts meetings with delivery teams.
Skills and Experience
- Experience with CAD packages such as AutoCAD or Revit would be advantageous.
- Proven verbal and written communication skills.
- Minimumof grade B in Mathematics would be preferred.
- A track record in finding solutions to problems, whilst meeting deadlines.
