Joining us as a Penetration Tester, you can be part of empowering our Cyber Security function. The Future is exciting. Ready?Penetration testing makes up a key part of Vodafone's strategy to ensure security for customers and colleagues.
As a penetration tester you will embark upon a training and certification program to build on your existing experience within the field of computer security.
You will be involved in the fulfilment of a variety of technical activities from test scoping, shadowing Senior Penetration Testers and, following training undertaking enterprise penetration testing activities.
With us you will be responsible for:
- Undertaking testing activities in line with the Vodafone Security Testing Code of Conduct and associated policies.
- Penetration testing systems located across the globe, many with complex access requirements that require lateral thinking.
- Delivering high quality reports that address identify technical concerns, but also deliver insights that will be used by stakeholders throughout the business.
- Creating and maintaining tooling and documentation to assist in future engagements.
- Researching new tools and techniques to use internally.
- A technical and/or cyber security background, penetration testing preferred.
- Transfers from allied disciplines such as security architecture, appsec or support roles are considered.
- A curious, detailoriented mind;
- able to think laterally around problems and troubleshoot issues
- able to identify trends and patterns in reported issues
- The ability to review documentation and policies and highlight gaps identified during testing.
- Good communication and skills, able to exchange technical information in relation to penetration testing to others, including nontechnical stakeholders.
- A willingness to continue development, knowledgeshare with the team and take part in industry events and training courses.
